Sephora.com (Web Producer, Contract)

Project Context

Sephora conducted a site migration in the fall of 2023, moving all content from Oracle CMS to Contentful CMS. The goal of the migration was to save money, as Contentful was a less expensive option than Oracle, and to improve backend usability, as Contenful is designed to easily transmit content to different frontend clients (desktop, mobile web, and mobile app).

As a contract web producer, I built 18 pages in Contentful to assist with the migration. This required skills such as the ability to quickly learn new tools (I started using Contentful and Oracle CMS on Day 2 without previous training in these systems) and collaborate with internal marketing stakeholders.

I uploaded SKUs and links, consolidated information from separate sources (mockups, AEM files and copy repositories), and completed QA processes on both the US and Canadian versions of the site for each build that I produced.
